Rules Etiquette Practices Systems
BIE is New Jersey's only certified SuperSlow/High Intensity and MedX Medical Exercise Facility. We provide the ideal exercise environment for our clients high intensity workouts... no music, no workout floor mirrors, 60-66 degree air temperature with constant air flow. All of our state of the art equipment either comes direct or is retrofitted here for ideal SuperSlow High Intensity Training S.H.I.T. Below is a listing of rules and practices that all members and daily fee guests must comply with. We want to help you have a great workout and to thank you for choosing BIE for your Gym.
MedX Equipment must be used in a 5up-5down cadence... or slower!
All other equipment must be used in a safe manner... slowly... slow is harder, safer, better!
- Lifting belts create dangerously high BP levels. .our members never wear them...if you do, do so at your own peril.. .and they cannot be worn on any upholstered equipment!
- Please replace all weight plates, dumbbells, etc. to weight trees and racks immediately after use.. you should find machines empty and you should leave machines empty. Exception the three Lamb Pulldowns which require a minimum of 9Olbs at rest.
- Screaming, yelling, profanity are not allowed... .if you are spotting someone and/or encouraging them to super high intensity efforts only you and them should be aware of what's going on.. .whisper in their ear that you are going to kill their first born unless they get two more reps or whatever, but do it quietly. Yelling, screaming, and histrionics do not help you or your partner and are very distracting to other trainees.
- Our members do one all out set on most exercises--if you desire to do multiple sets of an exercise please let regular trainees "play through". Single set trainees always take precedence over those doing multiple sets.
Please bring a towel if you sweat. ..no one wants to sit in a pool of the last trainees sweat!
HAVE A GREAT WORKOUT!
I have read all of the above carefully and I agree to abide by what I have read. I understand that I present myself to BIE in good health and I will use good judgment and common sense in all that I do at BIE i.e., if I drop a weight on my foot, if I fail to secure a seat properly, if I engage in dangerous practices such as Valsalva etc., and I am injured.... it is my fault through and through and I will not try to blame anyone else for my mistakes. I am a responsible human being and I take responsibility for my own actions.
